Improved Technics Audio Center App

The Technics Audio Center App makes operating the SC-CX700 even easier. The app offers four main functions: SOURCE, FAVORITE, ROOM and SETTINGS. Switching between playback content and device settings is intuitive.

Space Tune™ functions

The SC-CX700 has three Space Tune™ functions.

(1) Easy selection from four presets (Free/Wall/Corner/On shelf), which can be set separately for the left and right speaker (2) Space Tune™ Auto for automatic tuning with simple operation via the integrated microphone (3) Measured for more precise measurements and corrections with the Technics Audio Center App* (*iOS devices)

The housing of the SC-CX700 is coated with Dinamica™, a microfiber material with a soft, suede-like texture, partially made from high-quality recycled polyester. The elegant appearance of the system matches any interior style.

Technics Orchestration Concept

This system combines numerous speaker, amplifier and signal processing technologies that Technics has perfected over many years. With the SC-CX700, Technics has created an integrated solution that reproduces music faithfully and in detail.

Acoustic Solitude construction

Amplifiers and speaker boxes are housed in a separate enclosure to minimize the transmission of vibrations to the amplifier and achieve clear sound.

Phase Precision Driver 4

The newly developed coaxial unit features a lightweight ring tweeter that allows the sound to rise and converge quickly, enabling faithful sound reproduction.

JENO Engine

Each speaker has its own JENO engine to reduce interference in audio signal transmission between the speakers and achieve high-quality stereo sound.

Model-based diaphragm control

The model-based diaphragm control (Model Based Diaphragm Control, MBDC) reduces harmonic distortion based on a movement simulation of the diaphragm, ensuring excellent sound separation with low distortion.
