The P-525 is the top model of the world-renowned Yamaha P Series of compact digital pianos and offers an authentic playing feel, exquisite sound, and further improved instrument sounds.
The piano sounds are those of two world-class concert grands: the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial.
The speaker power as well as the variety and quality of the sounds, including organs and e-pianos, have been significantly improved compared to the predecessor model P-515.
The highly praised NWX wooden keyboard for its touch has been replaced by the GrandTouch-S™ keyboard with 88 keys. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano.
With the Registration Memory function for saving and recalling settings and other helpful and practical features for live performances, the P-525 is also ideally suited for use as a stage piano.

The GrandTouch-S keyboard offers a realistic playing feel
The P-525 is equipped with the excellently playable GrandTouch-S keyboard, which can also be found in Yamaha's top-class Clavinova digital pianos. The playing feel of the keyboard comes as close as possible to that of a grand piano.
The GrandTouch-S keyboard also simulates the tonal variations that result from the fine differences in touch strength, touch speed, and touch position. The white keys are made of solid wood and, thanks to their laminated structure, are warp-resistant and particularly durable.

The P-525 is equipped with the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial sounds. The CFX is characterized by brilliant highs and powerful basses, while the Imperial has a warm sound that is world-famous as the "Viennese sound".

The P-525 offers improved organ, e-piano, and other keyboard instrument sounds.
The engineers who made these optimizations are experts in the sound of electric organs and e-pianos and the associated music culture. Their aim was to faithfully and in high quality simulate the familiar sounds such as the click effect of an organ and the distinctive sound of its Leslie speakers, the reverb, the distortion, and other sound effects of the e-pianos that shaped the pop music of the 70s and 80s. This leads to a realistic experience that gives you the feeling of actually playing these instruments.
Equipped with practical features for live performances
The P-525 has the Registration Memory function for saving and recalling settings, which is very useful and practical for live performances in cafés, bars, and other small venues. You can conveniently program all sounds and rhythms at home and then quickly and easily recall them at the venue. It is therefore also easy to switch between sounds in the middle of a performance.
Other features include the Sound Boost and an adjustable EQ to ensure that the piano sounds as good as possible when playing together with other instruments in a band.
