Description
Since its market launch in 1993, the proven C3000 B has been indispensable both in the studio and on stage. The revised C3000 combines tried-and-tested microphone technology used hundreds of thousands of times with modern AKG design and roadworthy coating. It is therefore perfect for demanding microphone tasks in the studio and in the rough everyday stage life and offers an attractive price-performance ratio.
The C3000 has a cardioid polar pattern and a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
In addition to low-noise electronics and high overload capacity, it features an integrated capsule suspension. This prevents mechanical vibrations via cable and stand. An integrated windscreen effectively suppresses wind noise and plosives. The switchable 10 dB pre-attenuation filter increases the maximum sound pressure level by 10 dB and allows the recording of very loud instruments such as brass instruments and guitar amplifiers. The bass roll-off switch sets in at 500 Hz with a drop of 6 dB/octave and compensates for the proximity effect in close-field microphone placement.
