The AKG D5 is a dynamic vocal microphone for singers and presenters. Thanks to the supercardioid polar pattern, it is insensitive to feedback. Even on loud stages, you only hear what you want to hear. Thanks to a slight frequency boost in the mid and high ranges, the voice is reproduced clearly and powerfully.
Unique is the AKG patented Varimotion diaphragm. It ensures a balanced sound and excellent speech intelligibility. Unlike normal microphones, the diaphragm is differentially thick. Thanks to the thicker center, the microphone can handle very high sound pressure levels. The thin edge of the diaphragm, on the other hand, produces powerful bass. Vocals and speech thus assert themselves optimally even in a dense mix. Hand and cable noises are effectively prevented by the elastic capsule suspension
To avoid disturbing pop and breathing noises, a windscreen is integrated in the AKG D5 microphone basket. The microphone housing is made of metal and has a scratch-resistant coating. This makes it very durable and robust.
A microphone holder and a microphone case are included in the scope of delivery.
