The fully analog PW-3 delivers professional "Wah sounds" in a robust and compact housing that saves the user a lot of space on the pedalboard. Newly developed by BOSS, the PW-3 prevents the typical loss of definition and the muffled bass of classic wah circuits in "Rich Mode." If you prefer a more traditional sound, simply switch to "Vintage Mode" on the back to enable the gritty "dirty sound" of classic wah pedals.
Unlike other pedals that lose functionality and playability when downsized, the PW-3 strikes the perfect balance between practical use and playability. The die-cast aluminum housing leaves a solid and robust impression underfoot while playing. The long, smooth control path of the pedal responds absolutely reliably and just feels good. With smaller pedals, it is often unclear whether they are on or off. The PW-3 solves this problem with status LEDs on both sides, so you can immediately see what’s going on. It is possible to adjust the pedal tension on the PW-3. Using a hex key, you can tighten or loosen the adjustment screw as desired.
