Our brand-new G6128T-89VS Vintage Select '89 Duo Jet with Bigsby® is a tribute to a classic late '80s design that rocked the peak of the grunge movement in the Pacific Northwest, which took the music world by storm in the early '90s.
The G6128T-89VS delivers the characteristic power and punch of a solidbody guitar model and features a modern mahogany chambered construction that enhances overtone richness through air circulation between the top and body, producing a livelier and clearer sound. The TV Jones® TV Classic™ Plus bridge and TV Jones TV Classic neck pickups reproduce the unmistakable vintage Filter'Tron™ sound with a fabulous tonal effect and can be intuitively controlled via a versatile control panel featuring a master volume knob with treble bleed, a master tone control, individual pickup volume controls, and a three-way pickup toggle switch.
Other features include a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius and hump-block pearloid inlays, a bone nut, G-Arrow knobs, a Bigsby® vibrato tailpiece, an Adjusto-Matic™ bridge with pinned rosewood base, and Gotoh® tuners.
This beauty from the grunge era is available in classic black with a silver pickguard, a late '80s style black headstock with Gretsch logo and horseshoe inlay, and nickel hardware.
