The successors of the popular iRig Keys series have been massively revised under the hood and can now be used even more universally than before. Whether on a computer, laptop, iOS or Android device (optionally requires USB-OTG adapter), nothing stands in the way of creativity anymore. An audio-out jack for headphones or active speakers has also been considered. Thus, the iRig Keys2 are the ideal companion for current iPhones and iPads without a headphone jack. Thanks to MIDI In/Out, the keyboard can now also be used standalone with hardware synths such as the UNO Synth or sound modules.
iRig Keys 2 is an affordable, ultra-portable USB MIDI keyboard for every Mac/PC and every Android or iOS device. It features 37 velocity-sensitive, pleasantly playable mini keys (3 octaves plus one note). Its small footprint and compact housing make it one of the smallest keyboards on the market, ideal for mobile producers and keyboard players. iRig Keys 2 is class compliant and thus supports true plug & play. In addition, it includes all the usual playing aids such as pitch and modulation wheels, an input for a sustain pedal, octave up/down buttons, program up/down buttons, and a volume/data control. Four freely assignable controllers simplify playing software instruments or hardware synths. Settings such as MIDI channel or transposition can be saved in four configurations via the set button. To get started immediately, a comprehensive software package (download) including SampleTank 4 SE with a library of over 2000 sounds of first-class tones is included.
