The JRX 225 is a high-power full-range system with dual bass drivers. It is the first choice when very high sound pressure is required without an external subwoofer as well as an attractive price/performance ratio. Mobile DJs, discos, or bands with club gigs are typical users of this type of speaker.
The two M115-8A drivers not only provide high sound pressure but also extend the frequency range in the bass area. The high-frequency range is complemented, as with all JRX200 full-range speakers, by the new 2414H-C driver. This is a variant of the 2414H driver, which is also used in the VerTec VT4886 line array, for example.
The dispersion pattern of the Progressive TransitionTM high-frequency horn is 90° x 50°. The nominal impedance of the JRX 225 of 4 ohms allows for extremely efficient use of the amplifier. The continuous power handling is 500 watts, and the peak power handling reaches up to 2,000 watts. This achieves a max peak sound pressure of 133 dB. A Speakon socket and a 6.3 mm jack socket offer optimal flexibility in terms of connection to the amplifier.
