The focus was not only on authentic sound but also on the playing feel and responsiveness of the instrument. The biggest weakness of conventional digital accordions, the bellows, which is of fundamental importance for the playing and expressive possibilities of the instrument, was completely redesigned from the ground up to come as close as possible to its acoustic instrument model – with success, because the "Advanced Proportional Bellows Behavior" technology enables an incredibly realistic playing feel with almost seamless dynamics, allowing special accordion techniques such as bellows shaking to be produced. In total, no fewer than 45 different accordion types from around the world are available, whose sound is generated in real time thanks to the most advanced physical modeling technology and can therefore be modulated to your heart's content during playing – just like with an acoustic instrument. On request, all sound-shaping components such as the tuning of the individual reeds, the number and position of the reed blocks inside and outside a cassotto, the bass system used, mechanical noises, and even the age and general maintenance condition of the instrument can be adjusted to your own taste to create your dream instrument. For each accordion type, 14 treble, 7 bass/chord, and 7 melody bass registers are available. To offer the greatest possible flexibility in playing, the FISA Suprema has 92 buttons and 120 basses. And if other sounds are needed, the FISA Suprema is equipped with five different organ types as well as numerous orchestra and percussion instrument sounds, ranging from solo instruments to complete ensembles, which can be freely combined with other sounds as layer or split sounds. Up to 600 such sound combinations can be saved as scenes in the instrument and recalled. For particularly expressive performances, numerous freely assignable controllers such as three chin registers, a master bar, a ribbon controller on the bass side, and an acceleration sensor are available, all of which can perform a variety of functions within a scene. Despite the extensive possibilities offered by the FISA Suprema, thanks to clever user guidance with few controls and a clearly readable color display on the top, all settings are very simple and intuitive. To meet the most diverse applications, the FISA Suprema also has a powerful integrated speaker system and connection options via balanced instrument cables, USB (MIDI and audio), and wirelessly via Bluetooth (MIDI and audio).
