With the compact size of the Phase 90, the superior construction, and the now legendary sound, MXR set the standard for phaser effect pedals by which all other pedals are measured. Only two years after the Phase 90, the Phase 45 appeared, a smoother, 2-stage version of the effect, known for its ability to fit perfectly into the band mix. Now both legendary circuits are available in a single pedal, moreover in a pedalboard-friendly mini housing. The MXR Phase 95 combines the Phase 45 and Phase 90 circuits in a pedal that is only about half the size of the standard MXR housing. With the 45/90 switch, you can switch between the smooth 2-stage phasing of the Phase 45 and the more pronounced 4-stage phasing of the Phase 90. The Script switch offers an additional mode in vintage script style. By default, the Phase 95 uses feedback to create a slight harmonic distortion that makes the typical phaser swoosh. In Script mode, this feedback is removed for a richer, more subtle sound with more headroom and clarity. The well-known speed control allows you to adjust the speed of the effect. The MXR Phase 95 may be small, but it offers enormous flexibility and a wide range of phaser sounds while being as robust as its bigger brothers!</p>
