The circuit of the One Control BBF is not a simple Big Muff clone, but uses a similar design. This allowed One Control and Bjorn Juhl (BJF) to integrate a completely revised BJF circuit into an extremely compact effect pedal while redefining one of the most popular sounds of the last 40 years. Although the idea of the circuit was inspired by a classic Big Muff, Bjorn Juhl uses an op-amp to meet modern requirements. A classic vintage Muff combined with the sounds you would actually expect from the Triangle version or the Ram's Head – this combination is achieved by the One Control Baltic Blue Fuzz with a crisp sound that goes straight 'forward'. The tone control is easy to operate and offers musical sounds across the entire adjustment range, working very directly and producing a direct change in sound in every setting.</p>
