The active VM-70 produces clear audio with fast response and powerful bass. The speaker can be adapted to the characteristics of any room, making it perfect for creating a club sound when DJing or providing a flat frequency response when producing music in a private or professional studio.
High-quality components
Each speaker in the VM series contains a Class-D amplifier with 96 kHz DSP to enable wideband audio playback. Its highly efficient performance leads to low distortion and energetic sound. The 4 mm thick front aluminum insert also suppresses resonances and vibrations, delivering sound that authentically reproduces the original source.
Aramid fiber woofer and Vortex Bass Accelerator
Aramid fiber woofers offer excellent punch that you will feel in the bass and low midrange frequencies. These newly developed diaphragms are 30 percent lighter than conventional paper-lined aramid diaphragms, making them more powerful at lower sounds. The Vortex Bass Accelerator ensures dense, vibration-free deep bass, as air flows freely through ribs in the bass reflex port from the speaker, delivering a pure sound.
Constant Directivity Horn
Mid and high frequencies are powerfully reproduced thanks to the CD horn, creating a wide, even listening area. The shape of the horn and the woofer edge are specially designed so that the flat playback frequency transitions particularly easily to the tweeter, resulting in a natural sound.
DSP control
All speakers in the VM series are flat-tuned to ensure your music sounds natural. Each speaker contains DSP settings so you can optimize output and find the perfect sound for every room. On the back are 2 controls: Low EQ and High EQ. Very simply and without having to look, you can click the controls into 4 different positions each, giving you 16 possible EQ settings. Choose the one that best suits the shape, size, and construction of the room for DJing or producing music at home or in the studio.
Fresh, professional design
The brand-new design of the hexagonal aluminum front panel provides a fresh look as well as improved sound quality and durability. It reduces unwanted vibrations to keep distortion low, while the tweeter protection reduces the risk of damage to the high-frequency diaphragm. The brushed texture treated with Alumit gives the speakers a professional finish, making them a perfect match for Pioneer DJ equipment.
