Incidentally, the NT5s fulfill everything you expect from a good small diaphragm microphone in classic design, namely a crystal-clear and balanced sound for snare and hi-hat, for woodwinds of all kinds as well as acoustic string instruments and percussion, in short: for all sound sources with important transients.
