The battery-powered acoustic amplifier with looper! Roland presents the AC-33 - an extremely small and lightweight (4.7 kg!) acoustic amplifier that offers fantastic stereo sound and can be operated for 8 hours with only 8 small AA batteries!
This is the world's first acoustic amplifier that operates with normal AA batteries/rechargeables instead of heavy accumulators or large batteries, and it shines with many other features: looper with overdubs, 2 channels, anti-feedback against howling, digital effects, folding handle for tilting, etc. The AC-33 rounds off the very successful Roland acoustic amp series with AC-60 and AC-90 at the lower end - for musicians who want an even smaller amplifier and want to play EVERYWHERE.

Thanks to Roland's latest DSP technology, the AC-33 delivers a clear, rich acoustic sound with a sound pressure level that you would not expect from its size. It is designed in stereo (15 watts x 2) and offers a brilliant stereo multi-band chorus or "Wide" mode as well as stereo reverb and stereo ambience room simulations, specially tuned for acoustic instruments.
Playing and singing
The AC-33 has two separate channels: guitar and mic/line. Both channels have their own controls for volume, multi-band EQ, and chorus. The mic/line channel offers both XLR and jack inputs. There is also the possibility to connect MP3 or CD players to the two stereo aux inputs to play or practice along with your favorite music. Master volume, reverb, ambience, and anti-feedback complete the extensive features.
Looper
With the built-in looper of the AC-33, you can loop and layer self-played chord sequences or vocals as well as audio material input via the aux inputs. Loops up to 40 seconds in length with endless overdubs are possible.
