Description
The EC-10 ELCajon allows a cajon player to expand the acoustic sound with an electronic sound. The EC-10 itself is an authentic acoustic instrument that has a speaker for playing electronic percussion sounds. These include traditional percussion instruments such as tambourine, shaker, acoustic snare, electronic drums, sound effects, and more. The EC-10 ELCajon has an internal amplifier, can be powered by batteries, and is thus unique as a hybrid percussion instrument (acoustic and electronic at the same time).
The controls are arranged on the surface and are very easy to reach during play, for example for selecting sound categories or choosing variation sounds. The volume control on the back can adjust the volume of the layer sound, the trigger balance control determines the volume ratio between playing surface and rim sound. The trigger sensitivity can also be adjusted to the player's personal style.
