Precise multi-sensors in the snare, ride, and hi-hat pads work perfectly with the TD-50X module and capture every nuance with all details in the highest resolution. Thanks to extremely fast detection, you can naturally perform all acoustic techniques, including damping the ride cymbal with your hand or seamlessly switching between head, rimshot, and cross-stick playing styles on the snare. The VH-14D takes electronic hi-hat playing to new heights: strike sensitivity, sound variations, and an unprecedented resolution for the transition from open/closed playing.

The VAD706 features the famous multi-layer Roland mesh heads, consisting of three-layer snare and floor tom heads and two-layer rack tom heads, which offer natural resistance and rebound that can also be individually adjusted to your playing style. This is ensured by the physical air resistance that naturally conveys the playing feel of an acoustic kick drum. Then place your kit using PureAcoustic Ambience in a room of your choice, including full control over room type, reverb, and many other parameters.

Shape your sound like in the studio

After adjusting the details of your kit, you can bring it fully to life thanks to the impressive selection of professional studio tools. Change microphone positions on each kit instrument and add equalizers, compressors, and other signal processors. For more spatiality and tonal coloration, you can choose from a large number of high-quality reverbs and multi-effects.

Versatile connections for live and studio use

The back of the TD-50X module houses numerous connection options that prepare you for almost any playing situation in practice. With the XLR stereo master outputs and eight TRS direct outputs, you can send each individual drum instrument via balanced connections to a mixing console. For use in music productions on the computer, you can transfer up to 32 digital audio channels via USB in high quality. The TD-50X also supports MIDI I/O – optionally via USB or conventional 5-pin MIDI connectors.

Via the four analog aux trigger inputs of the TD-50X, you can easily expand the VAD706 as your requirements grow with you.
