Roger Sadowsky has made it his mission to further improve an already very successful bass design by making a series of detailed improvements. Together with the electronics he developed, he has managed to elevate the well-known J-Bass sound to a new level, so that today one can speak of a typical Sadowsky tone: never harsh sounding, with deep, defined, by no means dull basses, present but not intrusive mids, as well as sweet and airy highs. All characteristics of this modern bass sound can also be found in the 21-fret Vintage J/J basses of the MetroExpress series. All basses weigh a maximum of 4.3 kg and are therefore also interesting for bassists who are looking for a lightweight solution for the stage alongside a modern bass sound.
This version of the Sadowsky Vintage J/J bass in a high-gloss solid black high polish finish features a Morado fretboard - also known as Pau Ferro - and is equipped with a tortoise pickguard in this color combination.
