<p>The CMC 6 xt is a special version of the phantom-powered microphone amplifier CMC 6. It becomes a complete microphone by screwing on one of the many microphone capsules MK of the SCHOEPS module system. </p>

<p>It can be operated with both 12V and 48V phantom power and has a low output impedance (25 ohms at P12 and 35 ohms at P48). The current consumption is 8mA (P12) and 4mA (P48). Externally, the CMC 6 xt differs from the standard version only by the engraving "xt" for "extended" on the back. The essential thing, however, is its circuit based on the CMC 6, which has been extended so that the high-frequency response continues beyond 40 kHz. </p>
