Description
The Soundcraft EFX series consists of two models. For an affordable price, the console offers high quality and an easy-to-use interface. The components used have low tolerances. This allows for accurate tuning, which is especially important for the preamplifier and equalizer.
The two models of the Soundcraft EFX series offer 8 or 12 mono channels and 2 stereo channels each. For the first time in this price range, the GB30 preamplifier design is used, which is also employed in the consoles of the GB series. These preamplifiers are extremely overload resistant. They have a control range of 55 dB and provide +22 dB headroom. Phantom power supplies condenser microphones of any type with a real +48 volts.
The Lexicon effects section is equipped with a high-quality 24-bit processor - by the way, the same Audio DNA processor used in the Lexicon MX400. 32 effect presets are available. These can also be changed and saved by the user in three parameters. A mute function and PFL (pre-fade listen) capability and the TAP-delay feature optimize the application possibilities.
A 3-band equalizer with adjustable mids, two aux buses, insert jacks for the channels and the sum, a 10-segment LED chain, jack sockets (Neutrik), and professional XLR connectors complete the extensive equipment. A switching power supply is integrated. The power cable socket is positioned so that no additional rack units need to be considered during rack mounting. The Soundcraft EFX series is suitable for live sound reinforcement, fixed installations, and recording applications.
