The lugs used (Absolute Lugs) feature an internal lug-locking mechanism that prevents unwanted loosening of the tension rods during play via a locking plate inside the lug.
When it comes to reproducing a natural tom sound, the Yamaha Enhanced Sustain System (Y.E.S.S.) makes no compromises. Additionally, the traditional ball-mount and clamp mounting system guarantees stress-free shell mounting.
