The LiveTrak L6max is much more than a mixer. It is a fully equipped multitrack recorder in an extremely compact console that allows you to record your live shows, writing sessions, and rehearsals in studio quality.

Small enough for a duo, big enough for a band

Whether it's a large band, an acoustic duo, or a podcast with multiple guests – the L6max handles it all with ease. With four combo inputs (two with Hi-Z switching) and eight line inputs, the 12 channels provide the flexibility you need for any session.

Individual monitoring options

Through two independent headphone outputs and a configurable sub-out mix, you can precisely determine what you want to hear, no matter where you are on stage.

Equipped for high output power

Connect classic synthesizers, Eurorack modules, or professional-level equipment directly – no attenuation pad is needed. Channels 5 to 8 each include a -20 dB PAD switch, allowing you to handle loud source signals cleanly.

OLED display

The high-contrast OLED display presents the most important information centrally. Create recording projects, play them back, and easily navigate through settings.

14 recording tracks

Record up to 12 individual tracks plus a stereo mix directly onto SD cards with a capacity of up to 2 TB, which can be loaded for mixing at any time after saving.

Unlimited overdubbing

After recording, you can create a mix and then bounce it to a separate "bounce track." This frees up additional tracks to add more layers. Choose either a "quick" bounce or mix and bounce the material in real time. And if you don’t like the bounce, simply undo it and try again.

AI noise reduction

Activate AI Noise Reduction and let the L6max intelligently remove hum, hiss, and background noise while preserving every detail of your voice or instrument.

The details matter. Peaks definitely don’t.

For powerful drums and loud guitar solos, the L6max records audio without clipping in 32-bit float. Channels 1–4 feature dual AD converters that keep microphone signals uncolored even at extreme dynamics.

3-band EQ with tunable mids

Each channel has LOW, HIGH, and MID EQs with tunable mid frequencies to perfectly shape your sound.

Simply record with your smartphone or computer

After connecting via USB-C, you can record multitrack audio in your DAW or transfer a stereo feed to your smartphone for quick video content creation.

Internal effects

Enhance your mix with internal effects like reverb, delay, and echo. Use the TAP button to enter delay times.

Advanced compressor

The built-in compressor adds extra punch and saturation on the master track while protecting against clipping. Thanks to 32-bit float technology, the signal will never clip even at high volumes.

Professional mixer features

Flexible routing thanks to AUX sends: Two AUX sends with pre/post-fader taps for seamless routing.

Scene memory: Save up to four mixer snapshots and recall them anytime at the press of a button.

Sound pads with MIDI sync: Trigger jingles, sound effects, or samples as needed. For live electronic performances, the sound pads can also be synced to a MIDI clock.

MIDI I/O and USB MIDI

Connect external synthesizers and groove boxes or control them via MIDI apps on your computer and mobile devices.

Setup with the L6 Editor app

With the free L6 Editor app for Mac and Windows, you can easily configure pads, effects, and MIDI assignments.
